Nice find, nice ride, just one thing....WTF are those wheels? LOL.

Working on a 350, and possibly T56 swap, also upgrading the suspension and maybe brakes. Otherwise will be bone stock.

Alright! The first 84 Recaro on the forum ;)

Looks great.

I think it is interesting that for all of your options, you only have the rear hatch release on the dash.

I agree with Chris, I am not a big fan of the wheels. I'd probably go with a set of gold 16" GTA crosslace rims ASAP.

Those, I believe, are American Racing Rims. They're lightweight and good for drag racing.

The car looks good...I don't know if I'd go with GTA rims...maybe the Turbo Fins or some other rim, but I think the GTA rims would look out-of-place.

LOL, Yeah, like I said, the rims are going... but not just yet. The meats are brand new & I gotta save up for some new 16" rubber.
They are actually vintage Enkei rims. Very light, 15 x 8 & perfect for drag racing. The backspacing sets the rims out so its got that Wide Meat look oh so popular in the early 80's... Kinda cool in a retro way. I've still got a thought about getting the "Correct" rims for her, but unless I get lucky, its not worth it right now. I did get an offer of some @ Musclepalooza this Sunday... My buddy was sitting with his beautiful '78 S/E T/A Bandit & some guy offered them up but never came back... Oh well.
My plan is to use a set of 16" 4th Gen "Twisted Spokes" (bought for the '86)... paint them Black w/ Gold accents, use Gold 3rd Gen Bird logos off of base 15" rim center caps, and stick them over the 16"s ABS center caps.
15's just don't feel right on these cars... at least to me.
As for the dash, I also have the rear wiper, no defroster grid or subwoofer.
Another weird option, but nice to have, is Cruise Control... and it works!
I never knew GM offered that option on a stick back then. None of the 3rd Gen'rs I know have ever seen it on a stick car.... Including "Jay" Pretty nice to have on a stick car during long trips and it will disengage if I tap the brakes or the clutch.

Interesting that you have a rear wiper. I also have the Cruise Control, the plastic of the stalk it is on is cracked but if I recall the Cruise Control itself worked. I need to get my L69 with the lifters and the cam out of my back yard. That is one of the things I'm planning on doing so I have the numbers matching block rebuilt at some point. But first we need to figure out what we are doing with the Garage, its being used for storage (which is stupid and is pissing me off because they are just dumping stuff on top of the car. I came home once to find piles of heavy bins and etc in my car on top of the T-tops (they were off the car for ventilation and because I was working on it)  Talk about mad, they are worth more than the car!!! I threw all the stuff out of the car and slammed the hatch shut. I am hoping my spoiler isn't warped from the stuff being piled on it. However now that I am home it probably won't happen again. Done with College and now looking for work but since no one is hiring I might work on the Trans Am.

Coolness about the CC on yours too. Sux about the crap getting piled on your car tho, been there before... About 5 years ago I stored the '86 at my Mom's for the winter. That March, I went to start readying her for Spring, & I found a nasty dent on the hood & found more than a few scratches on the '86 from my Step-Dad. Really burnt my butt. He said its just a car!?!?... J/A!! (we don't get along  )
Let me know if you're looking for anything. If I run across stuff during my boneyard runs, I'll grab what I can. My Cost (+ shipping if need be). I try to grab what I can for people & normally charge what I paid, unless its a real PITA or something I need too. I'd rather see cars on the road than in the scrap heap getting crushed... This past Summer, I took a group of friends to a local yard & we ran into 3 aweful sights.
1.) An Iroc-Z, L98 'Vert, White w/ Red interior, G92, loaded, solid, we were told by a yard worker that it ran when it came in. Car was 100% complete & looked decent until it ended up in there. They'd run it over with a yard tractor & messed it up really badly.
2.) An '84 Berlinetta, Brown/Gold, LG4, A/T, loaded w/ everything, Digital Dash, rear wiper, overhead console, Tan leather interior, foglights, etc... crushed w/ a car above & below it. The overhead console was split in 2, but we scavenged the flashlight & some of its parts, plus a few odds 'n ends, the dash was impossible to get at safely tho.
3.) A Black on Black '91 Firebird, V6, another car that was mint & loaded until it got there. Door cup holders, foglights, perfect Black cloth interior. It had a Caddy on top of it which blew out the Ttops & had ruined the seats & carpet with water, glass & ATF. We stripped all of the plastics for a Friend's car. The Junkyard owner wanted $300 for it all... after we finished stripping it
...So we lugged most of it back & stashed it in a junked school bus. We all bought a few things & Adam went back over a period of weeks & bought it all bit by bit, only cost him about $180...

If you find any B20 pieces I'll take them if I have the money, I need the shifter knob and the leather pad by the knee, Shifter I might have an interior shop redo, because I have the knob, and my brother's knob from his Fiero, the Fiero had the same stitch pattern as the B20 shifter knob so I might take it up and have an upholsterer do the pattern in black leather for my shift knob. The threads are shot on the one from the FIero so my brother has no use for it. I'll let you know if I'm looking for anything else too. But from what it looks like most of the things I need are going to be new reproductions or if I am very lucky OEM.

I am a bit behind the times on the comments and such, But another great ride!
That is really clean, for sure a rare one there.
Recaros are far and few between out here in the PNW, and the couple I have seen were junk.
The wheels remind me of some old school American Racing or centerlines, cool in the day.
Speaking of jackets, I was given this when I purchased the Shark new in 1983...kind of the whole members only thing going on and I have to tell ya, I wore the shizzle out of that coat
