WS6/7 with 2.8 V6 ??

I want to say the answer is yes but I'm not sure. I can look it up when I get home unless someone else can chime in.
I remember reading somewhere that the spring rates where different for the S/E WS6 but I don't remember if that was because of the V6. WS6 was the Level III suspension.

According to my 84 dealer book the LL1 2.8 V6 HO was standard on the S/E.

So I would think that you could order a V6 HO car w/ WS6...

But of course this is for 84... not 82 and 83... So, as far as those two years go I will have to defer to someone else.

According to the literature I have from back in the day you could get WS6/WS7 on a Firebird S/E with the V6. The spring rates were different than the V8 WS6/WS7 and the rear sway bar size was 18mm instead of the 21mm used on V8 cars.

It looks like the Base Firebird could only be upgraded to Level II(Y99) suspension which was the standard suspension level on the S/E and T/A.

I can't speak to 82-83 with any certainty, but the 84 S/E you always see in my signature was a 2.8 HO V6 (LL1) with WS6.
